Planktoscopes, low-cost, high-throughput monitoring devices for the semi-automatic analysis of phytoplankton have been acquired for the INDIFUN-AI project and will be used to analyse existing, archived phytoplankton samples. The instruments will undergo a series of quality assurance tests such as a comparison of the effects of different fixation methods on the analysis results. The final goal will be to establis protocols for the routine use of this device in a monitoring context

Dieser Vortrag fasst die Ziele von INDIFUN-AI zusammen. Er wurde im Rahmem eines Treffens des BBO clusters gehalten. BBO steht für Biodiversity in the blue ocean. Im BBO cluster arbeiten 4 Projekte zusammen, die im Programm FONA des BMFTRs gefördert wurden, und sich mit verschiedenen Aspekten der Unterstützung des BBNJ Prozeses befassen.
