35th Marine Environment Symposium

The 35th Marine Environment Symposium brings together experts from science, politics and wider society. The dialogue focuses on current challenges relating to the protection and sustainable use of the marine environment. The programme features 18 expert presentations, four panel discussions, 24 scientific posters and a Science Slam, where scientists will present their research. In addition, the reception on the evening of 8 September provides an opportunity for professional and personal exchange. Another highlight of the programme is the closing panel discussion entitled “Marine conservation is climate protection” and a live link-up with the Tara Polar Station in the Arctic.
