Global Terrestrial Network for Permafrost (GTN-P)
The Global Terrestrial Network for Permafrost (GTN-P) is the leading international programme for long-term permafrost monitoring. Its mission is to sustain a comprehensive global network that delivers consistent, high-quality, long-term observations of key permafrost indicators (Permafrost Essential Climate Variable quantities). These data support the assessment of the current state of permafrost and its changes over time.
