Argentinian Ambassador visits the AWI

On Friday the Argentinian Ambassador S.E. Edgardo Malaroda visited the Alfred Wegener Institute together with the Embassy Secretary Martin Suaya.

The Argentine-German cooperation in research and in questions of environmental protection and sustainability at the research stations in Antarctica was discussed with representatives of the AWI directorate and AWI scientists. Ambassador Malaroda expressed great interest in the AWI research and lauded the good cooperation with Argentina.
