Illustrated lecture “Stars of Polar Night” with Esther Horvath

On the occasion of the annual conference of the DGPh Section Science, Medicine and Technology, AWI photographer Esther Horvath will give an illustrated lecture entitled “Stars of Polar Night” at the State Museum of Egyptian Art in Munich on 20 June.

The programme is dedicated to the diverse connections between photography and science. It explores both the use of applied photography in research and scientific applications of photography through selected practical examples. In addition to the lectures, the conference offers opportunities for exchange with the speakers as well as informal discussion among the participants.
