Research interests
Southern Ocean and Arctic oceanography, overturning, sea ice, convection, and numerical modelling.
In my PhD research, I am using non-hydrostatic simulations to improve our understanding of convection in the Southern Ocean, with the ultimate aim of improving how it is represented in global Earth System Models (ESMs).
