SCIENCE GOES PUBLIC! lecture series

Entertaining science in 30 minutes: SCIENCE GOES PUBLIC! presents a variety of scientific topics twice a year in selected pubs and bars in Bremerhaven and Bremen – always on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m.

This year's autumn series starts on 16 October with a colourful programme of exciting lectures, experiments and vivid explanations from a wide range of disciplines. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for the audience to talk with the scientists.

This time, a total of three scientists from the Alfred Wegener Institute will be there to present their work:

“Totally irradiated! Who actually eats radioactivity?”

Who: Dr Katja Metfies
