This photo shows the high volume (HV) and low volume (LV) aerosol sampling set-up (on the right). The HV-filter is situated inside the aluminium holders (on the right side, between the striking orange coloured solenoid valves). The pumps are mounted below the desk. Typically the air flow through the HV-filters is around 100 m3/h and 20000 m3 – 40000 m3 air is forced through the filters. Also shown is a Cloud Condensation Nuclei Counter (CCN from TROPOS-Leipzig; top left),  a condensation nuclei (CN-) counter (below), an intergrating nephelometer (leftmost), and a laser aerosol spectrometer (in the midst).
