The interactive exhibition “Polarstern – Expedition into the Eternal Ice” will be on display at the KLIMA ARENA in Sinsheim from 23 October 2025. Visitors are invited to embark on an exciting journey into the fascinating world of the Arctic. The exhibition offers insights into the challenges and findings of modern polar research and at the same time draws parallels to historical expeditions. The focus is on the MOSAiC expedition, the largest Arctic research mission of all time. The research icebreaker Polarstern drifted in the Arctic sea ice for over a year to study climate and ecosystem changes.

The exhibition is aimed at children, young people and adults alike. Interactive elements and vivid presentations make scientific content tangible.
