Ocean Sneaker's Tool (OST) was developed as a tool to analyse and process table-organised data files. It is a freely available, simple to use open-code software project. It offers import routines for the output of different gears and a universal routine for ASCII text files which are also generated and shared by several other standard programs. The charting algorithms make it simple to visualise your data. Among normal line x/y charts it is possible to display your data as bar or area diagrams as well as polar- or surface plots. The charts can easily be modified, printed, saved, or copied to the OS clipboard and inserted into other documents. It helps to generate geo-coded data formats being understood without any further modification by OceanDataView. It is possible to pre-process data aboard a research vessel as this program can even be run from an USB-memory-stick on almost any computer with (emulated) Windows ® based operation-system. The data mining functions allow processing selected parts of your data using numerous standard operations and conversions.
