Nutrient loads in pond-in-pond systems
In this bachelor thesis the design of biofilters and their nutrient loads will be investigated. In six recirculation systems different types of biofilters (moving bed) will be determined by analysing the flow rate performance, contact time and various chemical parameters, such as oxygen, nitrite, nitrate, and ammonium concentrations and the pH-value. The target of this thesis is to find a better design for biofilters used in the project AquaInno.
