Conference Registration

General Information

Registration for the ICRSS 2018 is secured via payment of the appropriate registration fee.

The regular registration fee includes:

  • Access to all sessions and presentations
  • Coffee breaks
  • Lunches on 10., 11., 12., and 13. September
  • Conference Icebreaker on 10. September
  • Barbecue on 11. September
  • Conference dinner with ship cruise on 12. September
  • Scientific side meetings (workshops) on 14. September
  • Local excursions Telegrafenberg Science Campus (11. September) and Park Sanssouci (12. September)
  • Electronic abstract book

Only registrations for the full week are possible.

ICRSS Payment Options

ICRSS registration and event fees payable before 15 July 2018 (Early Bird) or 10 August 2018 (Late Bird).

In order to enable us to record your payment correctly, please ensure that with your payment we receive our reference code and the name under which you register: „ICRSS2018 - IP63010002 - Last Name - First Name”.

Travel Support for Early Career Researchers

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Polarforschung e.V. (DGP) offers travel support for early career scientists attending the ICRSS 2018. Here are the most important information on the application and selection process:

  • Early career scientists: students, PhD candidates or PostDocs within their first five years since their PhD
  • Travel support between 200 and 300 Euro (final allowance depends on amount of applications)
  • The executive board of the DGP will view all applications and decide on whom to grant travel support for the ICRSS 2018
  • Application deadline: 15 July 2018
  • Acceptance notification: 10 August 2018
