SGI UV100

Operating since December 2011

  • front end for HLRN as part of BremHLR
  • one node, consisting of 20 blades with SGI NL5 interconnect
  • 320 cores (40 Intel Xeon E7-8837, 8 cores, 2.66GHz)
  • 2,5 TB RAM (8GB/core)
  • 90 TB disk space

 

IBM Cluster

Operating since 2001
(Last hardware upgrade: December 2009)

IBM BladeCenter with JS22 blades

  • 14 blades
  • 4 Processor cores per blade
  • Power 6 processors, 4.0 GHz
  • 12 blades with 16 GB memory
  • 2 blades with 32 GB memory
  • 7.3 TB disk space
