International Cooperations

International Cooperations:

The Alfred Wegener Institute works in a global network. A particularly close collaboration exists with partners from France, Great Britain, Norway, Russia and Canada.

Several stations are jointly operated by AWI and its partners: AWIPEV on Spitsbergen with France, Samoilov station in Siberia with Russia and  the Dallmann laboratory on the Antarctic Peninsula with Argentina and the Netherlands.
