The most recent field campaigns are JASPER (2010), which took place in the Weddell Sea (Antarctica), and MELTEX (2008), which took place in the Canadian Arctic. Also detailed informations are given for the campaign SASKOS (2005/06) carried out on the plateau of Dronning Maud Land (Antarctica),  the evaluation of which is still going on.
