Eppley short and long wave hemispheric radiometers

Purpose of Participation

  • Measurement of the vertical profile of the solar and terrestrical radiation balance

Instrument description

The pyrgeometers consist of thermopiles shielded by a silicone hemisphere with a transmittance in the 4 top 40 (mu)m spectral range. The pyranometers are standard short wave hemispheric instruments.
