Wet only precipitation sampler
Purpose of Participation
- Precipitation sampling for subsequent chemical characterization of precipitation by ICP-MS and ICP-OES
- Ground based measurements in connection with airborne activities
Instrument description
The sampler is coupled with an optical precipitation sensor. One filter collects aerosol during dry periods while another filter will be charged with aerosol during wet periods. The precipitation will be sampled by an automatic precipitation sampler, which is also connected to the precipitation sensor. With the strategy two aerosol filters and one precipitation sample will be obtained for each sampling period.
