Photoperiodic time measurement in Antarctic krill (May 2009-September 2012): DFG project TE 618/3-1 and TE 618/3-2 of Dr. Mathias Teschke (working group Chronobiology Prof. Dr. Achim Kramer , Charité Berlin) in co-operation with Dr. So Kawaguchi (Krill group, Australian Antarctic Division : AAD, Kingston, Tasmania).

The Antarctic krill, a key species under the impact of climate change (January 2011-December 2012): German-Australian cooperation project funded by the international Bureau of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (IB of the BMBF), AWI, and AAD. Cooperation partners: Drs So Kawaguchi, Simon Jarman (AAD) and Dr. Klaus Meiners (Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre Hobart, Tasmania).

Mass mortality events of Antarctic krill at Potter Cove, King George Island, Antarctica (April 2010- December 2012): PhD Project of Gaston Aguirre funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
