Tours and Sightseeing
On Tuesday, August 23 in the afternoon we'll offer tours to the major sights in Bremerhaven. The options are the following:
- Klimahaus
- German Emigration Center (Auswandererhaus)
- National Maritime Museum (Schifffahrtsmuseum)
Klimahaus is going to host the workshop and deals with the world climate in form of a journey around the globe. The German Emigration Center deals with the historical background of emigration as a large number of emigrants boarded their ocean liners in Bremerhaven. The National Maritime Museum displays a large number of exhibits dealing with all aspects of navigation and offers access to some historic vessels (Website in German only, the tour however would be in English).
The price for each tour amounts to no more than 11 Euros. Since for a guided tour a certain number of participants is necessary please indicate your preferred tour in the registration. It will enable us to make appropriate reservations.
