As a member of “Friends of the Alfred Wegener Institute”, you can contribute to supporting the Alfred Wegener Institute and its scientific work.

Members will receive first-hand information about Alfred Wegener Institutes work as well as invitations to all events organized by “Friends of the Alfred Wegener Institute”, so that they will always be kept informed of the current developments in the field of polar and marine research.

The annual minimum membership fee is currently 30 euro for individuals (10 euro as reduced fee for pupils, trainees, students, PhD students) and 300 euro for public bodies, associations, institutions and companies. The membership fee and additional donations are tax-deductible.
