Meteorology Measurements at AWIPEV Base (Koldewey-Station)
Since 1992 a meteorological observatory programme is going on at Koldewey-Station continously. For a bipolar intercomparison the same programme is also carried out at Neumayer in the Antarctic. All activities at the Koldewey-Station are carried out jointly or in close cooperation with the Norsk Polarinstitutt and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.

The routine programme consists mainly out of 3 parts:
Meteorological Data:
- Meteorological data (updates every 5 minutes)
- Meteorology of today (graph updated every hour) and yesterday
- Surface radiation of today (preliminary data)
- Latest temperature and humidity profile (preliminary data)
- Latest wind profile (preliminary data)
- met.no: Recent statistics Ny-Aalesund
- met.no: NOAA satellite images
