AWI Geographic Information System (GIS) Hardware (December 2011)

The AWI actually modifies its hardware system: from physical to virtual. The changes in GIS hardware infrastructre are diagramed below.

GISSRV2 and GISSRV3 - are platforms for ArcGIS Server and related geodatabase / ArcSDE (ArcGIS Spatial Database Engine) configuration

GISSRV3 - is also the new ArcGIS license server

GISSRV4 - operates the GIS Metadata Portal 'GIS-Portal' 

GISSRV5 - is running with a protected firewall (DMZ) for outside web services (red colour)

GISSRV6 - Terminalserver for ArcGIS Desktop 10.0

GISSRV7 - Terminalserver for ArcGIS Desktop 10.0
