Although OST can be run on 486er and older machines a Pentium CPU and 500 MHz, better a PIII and 700 MHz or higher. Several tests using slower machines resulted in long delays in processing large data tables, importing or exporting and especially visualising data,
Ocean Sneaker's Tool has been tested to work with Windows 95/98/2000/XP environments. No problems due to the operation system have been reported. Mac and Linux users can use a windows emulator to run OST. So far no problems have been reported.
A screen resolution of at least 800*600 pixels and 256 colours is recommended.
Systems with several monitors are supported.
OST is an executable program which means it does not log into your system automatically, but it can therefore be run from external sources (e.g. USB-Memory sticks) on every system that emulates a windows-like environment or windows itself. Furthermore it can directly be run out of a zip-archive.
