Development of a construction design for nearshore aquaculture: an environmentally friendly and sustainable floating re-circulation plant
In the context of the project AquaInno I am responsible for the design of a new recirculation system, which is located within a cage-like floating device for the cultivation of smolts or any other juvenile fish. Here, the set-up of the mechanical filter as well as from the biofilter is a main part of my work. Furthermore, the entire culture system must be resistant to the surrounding current and wave regime and, of course, well suited for the cultivated candidates.
